Covid-19 had a major impact on the WNBA, so much so that it was uncertain if they would continue on to have a new season. However, with things calming down, the women in the WNBA proved that they were still at the top of their field. With that said there are a few shining stars that definitely need to be watched. Now you may not know who we are speaking about but that’s why you are here. Here you will get a glimpse of who to watch in the WNBA in 2022. 

When speaking of the WNBA, we need to speak about Breanna Stewart who plays for the Seattle Storms. Stewart reclaimed her throne as the best player by proving it during the Storm’s WNBA Finals. During the game, Stewart achieved an amazing average of 28.3 PPG, 7.7 RPG and so much more while playing in the championship series. She also added the Russian Premier League MVPs trophy to her collection. 

Now when you think of skills and recognition in the WNBA one name probably comes to mind. We are speaking about none other than A’ja Wilson. Wilson is quite possibly becoming a basketball superstar and she knows it. She is currently the league reigning MVP. What sets Wilson apart from other players in the league is the fact that she keeps improving her game each time she hits the court.

Even though our list is the top two women in the WNBA, there definitely more women that you should keep an eye on. There are a variety of talented and high skilled women in this field. But it is easy to see why these women are the best in their fields. All that’s left to do now is wait and see how they perform during their games.
