Tiger Woods has made something of a major comeback in the past few years of playing golf. In April 2019, he had a great showing in winning the Masters after being plagued by injuries. This was just another seminal title that solidified his name in the realm of sports. Unfortunately, Tuesday, February 23, 2021, he was in a big car accident. Here are the highlights:

• Woods suffered injuries to both of his legs during a roll-over car crash in California
• The jaws of life were used to help get him out of the vehicle
• The vehicle was on its side with the airbags deployed as well as extensive damage on the front-end of the SUV
• Due to the situation and the condition of the vehicle, LA County Fire Department Spokesman Henry Narvaez said that he wasn’t able to use the door to come out of the vehicle
• While the injuries were not life-threatening, he did sustain multiple injuries to his legs
• Sheriff’s Dept. Lt. Michael White said that it was too early to speculate if it was speeding or something else that was the catalyst to the accident. 
• Woods is no stranger to car accidents. In 2009, he unfortunately not only smashed his Cadillac Escalade but opened up a can of worms that cost him his marriage with Elin Nordegren
• He was supposed to go for the Masters again this year but we just wish him a successful recovery so that he’s able to go out on top in the near future
