Terry Bradshaw said that Mike Tomlin makes a better cheerleader than coach.

Terry Bradshaw, who works on Fox NFL Sunday. said that  he did not believe the current Pittsburgh Steelers coach, Tomlin, is one of the best coaches in the National Football League. Bradshaw won four Super Bowls as the quarterback of the Steelers and also works with the predecessor of Tomlin, Bill Cowher, on television. According to Bradshaw, Tomlin, a Super Bowl winning coach, merely inherited a team coached up by Cowher.

“I don’t think he’s a great coach at all,” said Bradshaw one Fox Sports 1 of Tomlin. “He’s a nice coach. To me, and I’ve said this, he’s really a great cheerleader guy. I don’t know what he does. But I don’t think that he’s a great coach at all. His name never even pops in my mind when we think about great coaches in the NFL.”

Tomlin has performed well in his 10 years as Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, compiling a 101-57 record and reaching the NFL postseason six out of the 10 seasons he has been in charge. Tomlin won a Super Bowl and made it to a second. The Pittsburgh Steelers director of communications tweeted out the track record of Tomlin as head coach and it has sparked a social media debate over the efficacy of the Steelers head coach. Bill Cowher also one a Super Bowl and posted an impressive winning record as Steelers head coach. Both coaches won Super Bowls with Ben Roethlisberger at quarterback.
