Taraji P. Henson announced her engagement to former NFL cornerback Kelvin Hayden on Sunday.

Henson, who stars on the hit TV show “Empire,” posted an Instagram photo featuring their matching Cartier Love bracelets and her multi-carat diamond engagement ring.

“He started with the Cartier love bracelet BUT that was my #Mothersday gift and then dropped to his knee and I almost passed out!!!” Henson captioned the post.

Henson, 47, and Hayden, 34, had been dating for two years prior to their engagement.
