Serena Williams and Virgil Abloh, the founder of Off-White, partnered with Nike to create The Queen Collection, E! News reported.

Williams will wear pieces from the collection while playing in the U.S. Open, which begins on August 27 in New York City. The collection includes a one-shoulder tennis dress with a tutu-style skirt, a bag, a jacket, and three styles of sneaker. The sneakers, which include the NikeCourt Flare 2 and limited editions of The Ten: Nike Air Max 97 and The Ten: Nike Blazer Mid SW, are accented with neon sole colors. Prices range from $130 to $900 for the items, which will be available in select Nike stores in late August.

“With Serena, we have one of our generation’s most powerful, inspiring athletes as the muse,” Abloh said. “I was trying to embody her spirit and bring something compelling and fresh to tennis. The dress is feminine, but combines her aggression.”

In addition to her fierce playing style, Williams is known for her twirling skirts and high-fashion sportswear looks. Abloh told Vogue that he and Williams collaborated extensively on the designs for the Nike collection.

“I felt so feminine in the tutu, which is probably my favorite part of it,” Williams said. “It really embodies what I always say: that you can be strong and beautiful at the same time.”

Williams has been a Nike ambassador since 2003. She has won 23 grand slam singles titles and four Olympic gold medals, and most recently played in the final match of the 2018 Wimbledon tournament, her first major event since giving birth to her daughter Alexis Olympia earlier this year.
