Boston Celtics guard, Marcus Smart, was not impressed by post-game comments made Chicago Bulls guard, Jimmy Butler.

Smart laughed when Butler questioned his toughness after a Game Four victory for the Celtics. The two players, known for their competitiveness and athleticism, got into a brief altercation with one another in the first half of the Sunday game.

“[Marcus is] a great actor, acting tough. It’s what he does. But I don’t think he’s about that [life],” said Butler.

Smart said that no one has ever questioned his toughness in the league. He responded to the Butler comments by pointing out that he was not a talker; he was a doer.

“I laugh at that,” said Smart. “This is about Celtics vs. Chicago Bulls, not Marcus Smart vs. Jimmy. I ain’t gotta sit here and say this and that — I’m this, I’m that. I ain’t that type of guy. My actions speak harder than words. It ain’t hard to find me. But right now I’m focused on my teammates and this series. I ain’t gotta talk about what I am about. I could show you, but I’m not going to tell you. So like I said, it ain’t hard to find me. And you heard him, he said, ‘I don’t think Marcus Smart’s about that life?’ Last time I checked, if you’re going to say somebody ain’t about that life, you should know, right? But like I said, we’re going to keep this Chicago Bulls vs. Boston Celtics, not Marcus vs. Jimmy.”
