Atlanta Falcons wide receiver, Julio Jones, is confident going into Super Bowl LI.

Despite the confidence Jones would claim going into the Super Bowl, officials of the Atlanta Falcons admitted that they were not confident even up 24 nil against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.

“No. 12 isn’t human,” said one Falcons official at halftime, even with the fortuitous first 30 minutes of the game.

Jones and his teammates, however, showed no fear of Rodgers or his offense. They were too busy scoring points of their own.

“Our mentality was just to keep scoring,” said Jones. “Nobody can stop us but us.”

Jones would go on to score on a 73 yard throw from Falcons quarterback, Matt Ryan. Jones was highly confident as he lined up against Packers defensive back, Ladarius Gunter, who gives up almost 20 pounds in the matchup. Despite Gunter garnering a flag for holding on the play. Jones still found his way into the end zone.

After the 44-21 victory was said and done, the Falcons players, donning their Championship hats, shrugged off the 24 point lead over the Packers. Jones went on to talk about the big wins for the Falcons in the postseason and their offensive state of mind.

“I mean — we ain’t trying to play with you and let you hang around,” said Jones. “Our mentality was that it was 0-0 and we had to get points. Kyle Shanahan did a great job staying aggressive there.”
