Krista Glover, the 36-year-old wife of professional golfer Lucas Glover, was arrested in Florida Saturday for allegedly physically attacking her husband and his mother because he played badly at this weekend’s Players Championship.

According to Daily Mail, St. Johns County Sheriff’s deputies were responding to a call of a disturbance at a home in Ponte Vedra Beach around 8:30 p.m. when they found Glover and his mother injured. Deputies said there were fresh lacerations to Lucas’ right arm and multiple lacerations to his 62-year-old mother Hershey Glover’s arms. The wife was reportedly intoxicated at the time of her arrest.

Lucas told police that his wife called him a loser and a p***y during the argument and told him he that he’d better start winning or her and the kids would leave him. The 38-year-old golfer, who won the U.S. Open in 2009, also told authorities that his wife yells at him in this manner whenever he plays poorly. Lucas attempted to dissuade police from arresting his wife, police said.

According to the arrest report, Krista Glover made a bad situation worse by also berating deputies and resisting arrest. They said after they placed in her in handcuffs she tried to get away and it took two officers to restrain her.

“Wait till the tour (PGA) hears about this,” she yelled at the officers, according to the report. ‘”You will lose your job. This is why cops get shot in the face. Wait till I talk with the judge, you will be f***ng fired over this.”

She was charged with domestic battery and resisting arrest, misdemeanors which each carry a maximum sentence of one year in jail.
