Draymond Green has sided with LeBron James in his feud with Charles Barkley
Barkley, a National Basketball Association Most Valuable Player who analyzes the NBA for TNT, often jokes about and criticizes players who are currently in the league. Barkley has garnered the ire of multiple current NBA players such as Sacramento Kings center, DeMarcus Cousins, for his comments on Inside The NBA.
Most recently, Barkley called out Cleveland Cavaliers star, LeBron James, after the three time champion commented about needing more or better players in order to repeat as NBA Champions. Barkley said that LeBron was whining and complaining. Barkley has referred to LeBron comments in the past as punk moves. LeBron responded to the latest criticism by pointing out a number of personal foibles that have been highly publicized about Barkley, who claimed that LeBron took it to another level by making it personal.
On his podcast, Dray Day, Golden State Warriors forward, Draymond Green sided with LeBron, with whom he has competed in the last two NBA Finals.
“Destroy him! Destroy him!” responded Green in reference to the LeBron comments about Barkley. “I’m all for destroying Barkley. You know, Barkley talk a lot. A whole lot for a guy who has not won a championship. … I think Shaq should talk about the champions. Kenny should talk about the champions. Ernie can talk about the champions. When it comes time to speak about someone who has a championship, Barkley should be muted.”
